West Bend KMYA Plane Takes Flight

Bugs have been found on the wings and windshield of N534PL.  You're all invited out to KMYA on Sunday to help clean the airplane.  These bugs can only be the result of a first flight, which happened successfully on Thursday, September 24, 2026.

Think about that - an airplane that you helped build completed its first flight.  Congratulations to all students who worked, learned, and overcame challenges, mentors who mentored, EAA chapter who hosted.  Thanks to Larry Sullivan, founder and first flight pilot.  And acknowledgements to the Hartford KMYA group for participating, inspecting, sharing, and inspiring - Shout out to sponsors who donated materials, Air Camp who provided projects and potential students.   Thank you all.
